Tie Buddies Giveaway Ends 12/06/09
Tie Buddies was kind enough to send us a set of race car Tie Buddies for review, and are offering one of our readers their choice of Tie Buddies for a boy or a girl.
Tie Buddies are really cute, and a wonderful idea. I do want to start with there is a choking warning on the front of their package, I do think that’s responsible of them. As these are small, and if removed could very well pose a choking hazard.
These are an aid to help your child(ren) learn to tie their shoes. Not only does this help to learn to tie their shoes, it helps them tie a more secure knot. It’s not fun at any age to tie, and retie a loose shoe lace.
They are sized well enough to slide right onto laces of shoes, and little hands can maneuver them about. Creating simple stories with your child, and teaching him/her to tie their shoes can create lasting memories, and priceless quality time with your kids.
As I mentioned above we were sent Race Car Tie Buddies. Ours are blue squares, 2 with red, 2 with green race cars on them. The girls Tie Buddies are Fairies and Wands.
They really are so cute! And I think fairly priced at $8.99. Tie Buddies, ship quickly, and their site is rather easy to navigate. Easy navigation to shop on a website is a big plus from me. Nine step instructions are printed on the back of the package, as well as on their site in case the packaging gets ripped while opening them.

Knock Knock Novelty Items – Black Friday Event – Ends 11/29/09
I am easily amused. I kid you not I am. It’s the small things in life that make me happy. Sometimes it’s even a small 
quirky note pad that I can write notes on and leave for people. Knock Knock Novelty Gifts sent me a couple of samples for their holiday lists.
For Instance the Holiday Citation I would send to my dahling Redneck Witch would say and have the following boxes checked. The top says “Mind Your Holiday Manners, Surviving the season is hard enough without your antics Since we’re all in the same sleigh, why not bypass naughty for nice?”
Rednecks Infractions would be many but let me just name a few…..
Unreasonable Gift Demands – she lectures me every year that Christmas falls the same day every year BUT we’re still not ready for it when it comes.
Aggressive Shopping Tactics – First I know for a fact she once sent her kids to play with bra’s as a diversion so she could scoop in on the limited Black Friday deals and the funniest thing is that they were 2 boobs. Their hat drew loads of attention.
Let me see there has to be a few more I can slam her with it would have to be Family Hostility. If her family cannot simply shut up and do as they’re told it’s coal for them 😉
This next pad is What I Want For Christmas – I’m rather afraid to tread here but I must tell you the things Redneck Witch asks for or has in the past. (I’m not touching her sock fetish that is a whole ‘nother post). Looking on the Request form I see NOTHING for her so I will have to play “fill in the blank”. She wants a Slanket and not just any one she wants a pretty one *sigh*. It even has a space for you to list where to buy it and size and model numbers.
Then she would probably put something a Prenup even though she’s been married 5 LOOOOONG years. I guess she is thinking it’s never too late when you’ve got a rake in your hand the husband will sign anything.
Lastly I know for a fact she has a pearl bracelet on her list. She worked so hard for one. Seems she’s always the bridesmaid never the bride lol.
There are other fabulous pads for every age and occasion.

Good Health Natural Products – Snacks Giveaway – Black Friday Event Ends 11/28/09 @ 10 Pm Est
Everyone needs snacks for the holidays organic or not. It’s a need for the season with parties and gatherings. Why not “Health It Up” with something that is better for you? I received a box of snacks from Good Health Natural Products.
Losing taste by going organic? Not with Good Health Natural Products. Quite honestly I seriously don’t think I’ll go back to regular junk. The cost of these snacks are the same as all the others on the shelves.
I was convinced that I didn’t like the Polenta Corn Chip. I had to do my duty *sigh* so I popped a couple in my mouth and HEY they weren’t that bad. In fact they were good. Really good. They come in 4 great flavors too. 
The Humbles, hummus chips are my favorite. These chips are addictive my family ate them kind of like crackers with soup and sandwiches. The best I can describe these is that they are light and airy with lots of flavor.
Veggie Stix come in Hot or Regular. Hot is nice and spicy and a happy medium heat. These were my kids favorite and my youngest wants to take them to his class for snack day. 
The Olive Oil and Avocado Oil Chips are really good and taste exactly like regular kettle chips. They have a nice crunch and go great with a sandwich or dip.
Lastly is the popcorn. It is really good and is a great treat with hot chocolate or while you are watching great holiday movies curled up with the family.
