PRIZE Certain Dri Solid @msbabypug *CONFIRMED*

2nd Prize Pre Histin 63 cherry Lozenges – Value $29.99 @jbafaith *Judy, Confirmed, & sent to sponsor*

PreHistin works by regulating and normalizing the release of histamines, which trigger the onset of allergy symptoms. By preventing or reducing the over-production of histamines before they are released, the need to rely on anti-histamines is eliminated (no more drowsiness!). Safe for adults and children 12 years and older, you can begin taking PreHistin cherry lozenges at any time, but it takes several weeks to see optimal results since it works by rebalancing the immune system to maintain a normal response to allergens. PreHistin is effective for both indoor and outdoor allergies, and is safe for long-term use year-round. There are no known adverse side effects, it is totally non-drowsy, and it is completely safe. PreHistin does not affect any medications you may be taking.

3rd Winner – Prize MyClyns- @purplelover04 *Erica, confirmed & sent to sponsor*

MyClyns, a brand new alcohol-free, germ protection spray that you can immediately use on the face when exposed to harmful, disease-causing pathogens. The non-toxic, non-burning spray contains a fast-acting solution that virtually kills more than 60 potentially dangerous pathogens, including MRSA, staph and E-coli*. Yes, I know that spraying your face or your child’s face may seem a little strange, but so was using the thick, icky gels of hand sanitizers when they first came out (now I can’t leave home with out one and I even pack one in my kids lunch boxes!). It’s a product you wish you had when you’re sitting in movies and the person sitting front of you sneezes or coughs or another child suddenly coughs or sneezes on your child at the playground or a place like Chuck E Cheese. I’m not a “total germaphobe” but I am easily distracted by another persons cough or sneeze when I’m in public (movies, store, even church). And, I think lots of moms (and dads) will be excited about MyClyns.

Monave Rosemary Lavender Shampoo and Condition – Giveaway- Ends 12/04/2009

I love the smell of Rosemary and Lavender and was thrilled to get Rosemary Lavender Shampoo and Conditioner from Monave’.  They both smell really good and when using the same scents for your hair your scents don’t clash or over power.

The Rosemary and Lavender shampoo is lightly foaming and completely plant based.  It cleans hair and leaves hair soft and weightless.  This shampoo is  suitable for normal to oily hair and normal to dry hair.  It works with most all hair types.

Deborah Bilezikian, owner of Monave Mineral Cosmetics

The Rosemary Lavender Conditioner is light, nourishing, and detangles after use. The condition works best when it is applied after the Rosemary and Lavender Shmapoo.  What I really like about this conditioner is that I can pronounce every ingredient.

Both of the Monave’ hair products are nice and worked well on my dry curly hair.  The smell stuck with me for the day and it was a nice natural smell.  Not a product smell.

Monave manufacturing is done with out any animal testing.  95% of Monave products are vegan.  Paper, glass and plastics are recycled in the Monave warehouse and we ask that our customers do the same.

The Monave name comes from “Modern”, “Natural”, and “Versatile”.

The Monave line of mineral cosmetics includes, Lip glosses, lipsticks, blush, eyeliners, bronzers,mineral makeup foundation, as well as naturally formulated facial skin care and natural hair care products.

Cowgirl Chocolates 1/3 lb Sampler Giveaways Ends 12/05/09

Every things nice with a little sugar and spice. Isn’t it? Ohhh yes, it is. Cowgirl Chocolates can prove it.

When the package arrived from Cowgirl Chocolates, and I opened the box and saw the gorgeous red box inside, I didn’t want to open it! It was so pretty, wrapped in ribbon, adorned with the sweet little star on top. Being the country girl I am, I was in love. Marilyn, the head cowgirl over there, has great taste!

This is chocolate with a kick. Whatever your chocolate need be. Ladies, we all have a need for chocolate at one time or another. How many occasions can you think of? Cowgirl Chocolates creates a “just because” chocolate occasion, sporting the spiced up flavors that’s sure to make your toes curl!

After I finally opened my pretty little red box, my husband walked by and nabbed a piece of candy. He just happened to pick up Buckin’ Hot Habanero Caramel, HA! He ran with it. Straight to the sink for water. That’ll surely teach him to nab my goodies again. Now the mix of chocolate and spices are good, really good! But not all will set you on a running trip to the waterin’ hole. My daughter and I got to taste some of the Cowgirl Chocolates that didn’t have a kick. One of our favorites were Raspberry lemonade dark chocolate, an old cowgirl recipe blended to perfection with raspberry, lemon and deep dark chocolate. And on my “to get” list is Sarsaparilla Milk Chocolate, milk chocolate swirled with sarsaparilla (root beer) from the good ol’ days.

Why don’t you wander on over to the Flavor Guide, and see what you can find that you’ll like. With or without a kick.

I love the keepsake packaging they have.

Head Cowgirl Marilyn Lysohir founded Cowgirl Chocolates in 1997.

Her two favorite things in the world are art (she has a notable career as a ceramic sculptor) and chocolate. In fact her first job was working in a chocolate factory in
Pennsylvania. Marilyn mingled some favorite memories
with some new ideas to create an American original,
Cowgirl Chocolates.

Cowgirl Chocolates has won a total of 16 product awards
and 2 packaging awards and is located in Moscow, Idaho
USA.  It has also been featured on the Food Network
on “Unwrapped” and “Extreme Cuisine” and in the New
York Times and Toronto Star among others.

Cowgirl Chocolates is kindly offering one of our readers a 1/3 pound sampler package of their chocolates! Don’t want to wait to see if you win? Then you can purchase the same sampler for $12.95.

Facebook Putting A Stop To Promotions? No Dairy

Facebook = Social Networking

Blogging = Social NetWorking

Twitter = Micro Social NetWorking

Facebook has a made a change to their privacy policy.

Thank you to Casey, over at A Couch With A View , which is where I first read about this, she then directed me to Angie, over at A Simple Kind Of Life, who posted quite a bit of information on her blog in regards to this.

You may not publicize or administer a promotion on Facebook if:

2.1 The promotion is open or marketed to individuals who are under the age of 18;

2.2 The promotion is open to individuals who reside in a country embargoed by the United States;

2.3 The promotion, if a sweepstakes, is open to individuals residing in Belgium, Norway, Sweden, or India;

2.4 The promotion’s objective is to promote any of the following product categories: gambling, tobacco, dairy, firearms, prescription drugs, or gasoline;

2.5 The prize or any part of the prize includes alcohol, tobacco, dairy, firearms, or prescription drugs; or

2.6 The promotion is a sweepstakes that conditions entry upon the purchase of a product, completion of a lengthy task, or other form of consideration.

Yes, that said dairy.

I understand the rest of it, but dairy?

What will this mean for those of us that use NetWorked Blogs? Since NetWorked Blogs automatically publishes blog entries for us, when we publish giveaways on our blogs, it goes straight through NetWorked Blogs, which could very well fall into publicizing. So what is this going to mean for the small companies on facebook that have networked many there, in one convenient location?

Will this be a change that’s staying? Or will everyone launch together and ask that the privacy policy be removed, or edited?

I’m going to sit back and wait to see.

simplestencil125

Simple Stencil was kind enough to send me the below stencil for my Laundry Room wall.  It comes complete with a tool to transfer it to your wall.   Unfortunately I couldn’t get a good picture because of glare and a small area  but this is the color of my wall and the stencil.

simplestencil1

This is a great and inexpensive way to add decoration to your wall.  Not into wordy stencils?  Well the have embellishments and monograms too as well as you will see below.

Have a little one on the way?  Or want to redecorate your childs current room?  They have Poems, Prayers, Embellishments, Monograms, and right down to a darling Baby Face Clock.

This is also a great answer to big blank walls like I have.  It compliments the room and adds a little of your own personal touch.

There are literally 100s of designs to choose from and you can order them in the color of your choice.  I really like this because it added a personal touch to my room and it wasn’t hard to apply.  I also like that they have a design tool on their website that allows pick the color of your wall and then the color of stencil you’re thinking of purchasing.

Therafirm Support Socks Giveaway & Review – Black Friday Event Ends 11/27/2009 @ 3 PM est

blackcauldron2

And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care……….
Not these stockings though!  We were given the opportunity to try the Mens Support  Socks from Therafirm.  My husband had surgery not so long ago and requires compression hose or extra support hose.  We only have black and to be honest that’s all I thought was available.  Therafirm Core Spun trouser socks come in navy, white and of course black!

blackcompression
Therafirm Support Socks are designed to help relieve moderate leg and ankle swelling, moderate varicosities, and post schlerotherapy.  These socks are stylish and not your run of the mill support socks.  The socks have a knit-in band that keeps the socks in place.  Two-way stretch nylon and spandex.

whitecompression

My husband really liked these.  He said they didn’t bag at the ankles, and they had a more firm support than the ones hes been wearing.  My husband is very picky when it comes to socks and they have gained not only his approval but a space on his Christmas list!

Win It!

Therafirm has been generous enough to provide on Networking Witches Winner with 2 pairs for Therafirm Support Socks.

Mandatory Entry:

Go over to Therafirm website and tell me the nearset place in your area to purchase the Therafirm Support Socks.

Six Under A Tree Review & Giveaway Black Friday Giveaway Ends 11/27/2009 8:00 Am Est

blackcauldron2

Andres from Six Under A Tree sent me the most beautiful vinyl decals for my walls. For those of you that don’t know we have been living in an unfinished house for 15 years.  We are on the final leg of having this complete and I am honored to put the Six Under A Tree’s Vinyl Decals on my walls.  I received the decals shown below and they are in my new entry way.

I’m amazed that they were easily applied and they stuck to the wall.  I’d never applied vinyl to the wall and I’m very pleased with the ease and the look.  My walls are fairly bare as I don’t like clutter.  I think this is the perfect way to decorate with out the worry of holes in the walls or damage from stickers or border.

This is a great alternative for someone living in a rental that isn’t allowed paint, paper, or other decorative items.  Six Under A Tree Studio supplies a sheet of application instructions.  Decals are removed from painted surfaces by using a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the decal and this is included in the instructions too.

This is a great way to freshen a room with our spending a lot of money on decorating.  My penny pinching self finds Six Under A Tree affordable.  This is also a great inexpensive decorating tool for the holidays.

Win It!!

Six Under A Tree is generously offering one of our Networking Witches readers the same set of decals I received.

Open to USA and Canada

Mandatory Entry:

Go to Six Under A Tree’s Etsy shop and look at the beautiful decals.  Tell me which decals you would pick other than the ones I listed.
