We had errands to run on Saturday. We left in the truck to head over to Lowe’s. (an hour and a half drive, one way.) And Just a few minutes from home, the truck goes crazy. It took us 2 hours to get back home. So we got our jeep, and a trailer, and went on over.
Now, hubby goes to town to grab a few things, and NOW the jeep is screwy. Gah.
When it rains it pours doesn’t it?
Well, I thought I’d peek around to see what I could find online.
Andres from Six Under A Tree sent me the most beautiful vinyl decals for my walls. For those of you that don’t know we have been living in an unfinished house for 15 years. We are on the final leg of having this complete and I am honored to put the Six Under A Tree’s Vinyl Decals on my walls. I received the decals shown below and they are in my new entry way.
I’m amazed that they were easily applied and they stuck to the wall. I’d never applied vinyl to the wall and I’m very pleased with the ease and the look. My walls are fairly bare as I don’t like clutter. I think this is the perfect way to decorate with out the worry of holes in the walls or damage from stickers or border.
This is a great alternative for someone living in a rental that isn’t allowed paint, paper, or other decorative items. Six Under A Tree Studio supplies a sheet of application instructions. Decals are removed from painted surfaces by using a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the decal and this is included in the instructions too.
This is a great way to freshen a room with our spending a lot of money on decorating. My penny pinching self finds Six Under A Tree affordable. This is also a great inexpensive decorating tool for the holidays.
Six Under A Tree is generously offering one of our Networking Witches readers the same set of decals I received.
Open to USA and Canada

I’m finally feeling a little better, but still under the weather, and I have been trying to fly under the radar, so to speak. I spent a week up through the nights, and bouncing all day with my daughter, and her fever, and now I have been sick, so we all nabbed a 2nd wind today, and teamed up to whip out the housework.
I know it’s not just me, but GAH! I have had enough of mouthy teens lately. Ok more specifically, my mouthy teen. Can we go back to being 2 again? He was so much sweeter then.
A few things I have found. Refresh this post, as I’ll update as I find stuff to share.

Wait, before I go any further, I want to make this clear. Anytimecostumes.com has not directly sent me anything at all. I won from entering another blog review and giveaway. And as of posting this, nothing has even been received at this point.
Ok on with my story, I’m really rather proud of this, it’s great to rave about a company, but many of us don’t get to do it often enough.
We have a tough time finding things to fit my daughter. She’s overweight. And no, before someone says something ugly, she’s not morbidly obese. We haven’t ran around with cookies hanging out of our mouths since she was born or anything of the sort.
Halloween costumes are one of the hardest things to shop for. Everything is cute, and perfect for what she’d love to wear, but it won’t fit. Most often, it’s in the bust area. Like me, she has a wide back. Well I let Jessica know, and I had missed one important part. That the costume giveaway was for child or teen. So we changed our choices a few times. As we all know I have multiple email issues, and in turn missed an email from Jessica. She was just thrilled. Telling me that Anytimecostumes.com was allowing my daughter to choose ANY costume that she likes from their site, up to $75. Make special note here. I missed the email from Jessica.
If I missed the email, how did I know that she could choose any costume, up to $75? Anytimecostumes.com and Meredith went the EXTRA MILE! Jessica had already sent my shipping information along to Meredith, and she in turn called us. She was concerned with getting my daughters costume choice out to her, in plenty of time for Halloween. As if that wasn’t enough, my daughter had nearly flipped me over backwards in the recliner, while I was on the phone with Meredith. Meredith made sure the costume gloves were shipped with the costume for my daughter as well.
That IS customer service.
My daughter has been sick since Friday evening, this was a real bright moment in her day. She quickly headed for the desktop to start scouring costumes for around the 10th time. You see, all of our previous choices, we were afraid it wouldn’t fit her. Seems a lot of clothing is made for dainty girls. That’s wonderful, however in the real world, not all girls are dainty.
Thank you Meredith, and thank you Anytimecostumes.com! You made my daughter’s day, and that means you made mine too. You went the extra step to make sure she was taken care of. 2 Thumbs up, and 5 stars to you all. Thanks goes out to Jabbering Jessi for hosting the review, and giveaway on her blog. This has been a wonderful experience! I’ll be posting pictures around Halloween of my darling in her costume.
I’d like to ask, if you … our readers would add AnytimeCostumes to your twitter, and send a tweet thanking them for going out of their way for us, their customers. If you do, this, please go to each giveaway you have entered, and add one extra entry, with the tweet link. Be sure to leave a comment in the giveaway what you did, with the link or the extra won’t count. Limit one bonus AnytimeCostume entry per giveaway.
Have a happy and safe halloween.
I haven’t had time for wanderings. And, I am tired. My 11 year old is sick. Running a temp. on average of 100+, highest so far has been 103.3. She had a Dr.’s appnt. yesterday, but it wasn’t for being sick, it was for her medicine, for the blah bedwetting. I am a little worried because if this new medicine doesn’t work, the Dr. wants her to see a urologist just to be on the safe side. They did a UA on her, and it did show TRACES of blood, she stressed it was traces. She’s also checking kidney function with blood work, as well as diabetes.
Sis, (my daughter) started with just a mild cough and some sniffles late Thursday night. Friday, you could tell she wasn’t feeling well. And around 8:00 P.M. or so, she was running a fever of 101. Ew, blah, gah, and any other noise you can think of to mumble. I hate it when my kids are sick. It’s so exhausting, emotionally and physically.
Poor WinterWitch, it seems when her kids get sick it just circles the whole house one or two of them at a time. I don’t think they are sick this year yet. *knock on wood*
So, that time of the year has struck my house. I now have a wonderful sore throat. You know, the one where you just don’t feel like you can get enough to drink. It hurts a bit to swallow.
We have used extra precautions this year, extra hand sanitizers out here and there, in the car, anti bacterial wipes in the vehicles. Lysol. Bleach. *sigh* I’m worn out.
Since my elderly Mother lives with us it can get hairy to confine us “sickies” to one room, and her to one room to try and prevent her from getting sick. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, I’m worn out.
On a good note, I won from Jabbering Jessi’s Back To Blogging Bash, we won a costume from AnyTimeCostumes.com. See her winners post here, 50+ winners are listed here, she has also emailed all of them, so if you entered from any of my postings, be sure to take a peek, and check your email.
Sorry I’m a little scarce right now, as soon as I can get a 2nd wind and keep my daughter’s fever down to something I’m cozy with, I promise to get some more of my reviews up, along with some new giveaways. Be sure to check our giveaways page to see if you entered, or send your daily tweets, and leave your links in the corresponding entry’s.
I really want to thank all of our readers, and our new blogging friends. Some of you have offered us some very wonderful advice. Thanks for visiting, and thanks for entering.
Sorry all, but I’m calling it a night early tonight. With her temperature being hit and miss high, I think I had better get some rest in case I have to sit up with her tonight.
We had one of our giveaways listed on Prizey.net as an editorial pick, thank you to our readers that voted for us. Please give us a vote on the above link.

Oh The Weather Outside Is Frightful…. Newest post from WinterWitch today, 10/10/09
If I move my head hurts more. I don’t think there’s anything I would love more than a trip to the er for a loopy migraine shot. But no insurance means more than a $400 bill, so here I sit, suffering. I’m only online until it makes it’s peak. Then I’ll go poof.
Update – So the migraine made a peak, and I went on to the ER and am back to enter. After 3 shots, and a pill, my nose itches. One shot was a steroid, wanna’ bet it keeps me awake tonight? Blah.
Oh, and as usual, check back to this post, I’ll update it as I go.
Until then here are some great finds I ran across.
