"I'm Not Ready to Make Nice"

No Escape From Shaving

Ok, so none of us can really escape it. In one way or another we shave.

“Don’t let your shave routine go into hibernation this winter!”

No more telling our significant other that we’re keeping that extra leg hair “cause we’re cold”, its not a trend, and they aren’t going to believe us!

Pure Silk is here to help us. Between short holiday dresses, and winter vacations at the beach, it looks like your legs can’t go into hibernation anytime soon.

Pure Silk Moisturizing Shave Cream NEW 100% aluminum cans are 10% smaller in size, and 11% lighter in weight, using less material overall, while providing the same amount of product per can. Aluminum cans are more user-friendly, completely seamless, and 100% rust free. So what else does that mean? No more rings of rust in the shower or around the edges of the can.

Zoe Diana Draelos, MD shares some helpful advice on how to modify your routine for a closer, smoother, longer-lasting shave this winter.

First things fist, preparation is key! When the weather is cold – humidty levels are low, leaving skin dry and more easily irritated, points out Dr. Draelos. In order to help prevent icky razor burn and shaving bumps, your best option is to prepare skin by moisturizing at least twelve hours in advance of  your shave. Moisturizing right before you shave can dull  your razor, leaving it full of lotion; therefore preventing  you from getting a close shave. If you’re planning to  shave during your morning shower it’s best to apply moisturizer the night before.

To help you get a great shave try using aloe-enriched Pure Silk Shave Cream in Coconut & Oat Flour in the shower. Delicate fragrance, and creamy texture specifically designed to provide long-lasting moisture to help keep your legs soft,, smooth and touchable all day … and all night long!
