I have been blessed with the opportunity to try LipSmackinCreations, Bink’s CinnaNut Flapjacks. LipSmackinCreations creates recipes in a jar that you only need to add milk and an egg to have a wonderful sweet creation.

The CinnaNut Flapjacks were good and the only complaint that I and the rest of the family had is that we didn’t have more!  We had these flapjacks yesterday morning and they were a hit.  Paired with real maple syrup and it is the perfect breakfast.

LipSmackinCreations
isn’t limited to pancakes in a jar but they have a wide variety of items:  Grammy’s Chocolate Chip Cookies, Mama’s Original Crisp Topping, June Bug’s Fall Crisp, Nae Nae’s Peachy Crisp, and many more gifts in a jar items.

When you buy these they come with a pretty, cloth topper, and diections on how to make your item.  LipSmackinCreations items are listed on Etsy and include shipping.

Now take a little time to think of who you need small inexpensive gifts for and you have the perfect gift.  This makes the perfect gift for teachers, bosses, family and everyone else you have on your Christmas List!

Win It!

Munchie Mug Review & Giveaway Ends 11/28/09 Black Friday Event

Ok so as I sit here with the Munchie Mug, I was thinking  …. “hmmm, how can I bust this little dude, surely the snacks are going to fall out”. Sheesh, was I wrong! Each time I add an item, I am not taking any out.
I started with a halloween bat ring, added the lid, and shook it HARD upside down.
Hmmm again, so I add a cough drop.
SHAKE!
Nothing fell out.
Determined that this patent pending fabric closure was bound to give in, I add a small lighter. (don’t add these things to your Munchie Mug for yourself or your child please.)
And again I shake!
Nothing falls out.
So I add a regular sized lighter, and again I’m shaking the dickens out of this Munchie Mug. Nothing fell out.

I’m now adding a 1 ounce tube of lotion. This is getting rather heavy. I shook the mess out of it yet again. I really thought the lotion would come out of the mug upside down, since it’s tubular shaped, yet still nothing has come out of the Munchie Mug.
Ok so, I added a quarter, a nickel, a dime, and a penny. Now keep in mind, I’m shaking this REALLY hard. And I’m shaking it side to side, up and down. It sort of looks like I’m throwing a tantrum. lol

I did find that if I deliberately shook The Munchie Mug the direction of the slit in the lid, I couldn’t get anything more than 2 coins to fall out. I kept ALL other items in the Munchie Mug. I put the 2 coins that fell out back into the mug and shook again, all directions. The 2nd try none of the coins, or other items fell out. So after sitting here for about a half an hour shaking, and adding items to the Munchie Mug, only once did anything fall out. I really thought that if the slit in the fabric opened and anything fell out, that other things would fall out as well. Sort of like a dominoe effect with the opening. Yet it did not happen.

Munchie Mug scores a 5/5 for me.

Munchie Mug comes in 3 colors.

Pretty good test run, if I do say so myself. I’ll be keeping Munchie Mugs around our house for little ones. I can very easily see how this would save a huge mess in the house or in the car. And I think I’ll be adding a Munchie Mug to each of our vehicles. We often go fishing in the summer, and where we go we have to use four wheel drive, usually not a smooth ride.

Thinking more on the Munchie Mug, not only does it keep goodies in, but it keeps ickies out!

The Munchie Mug has my personal Mom Seal Of Approval. And after my own little “tests”, I love the Munchie Mug.

Nature’s Path Organic Review & Giveaway Ends 11/19/2009

I recently received Nature’s Path Foods to try.  We have recently started going organic and this company has really gotten my attention.  I’ve started a little at a time with my kids and husband so that they don’t scream and yell about good for you foods.  When the Nature’s Path box came with granola bars and cereal the kids wanted the granola bars.  Next morning they ripped into the cereal. (pst Nature’s Path is in O Magazine’s Christmas edition)

Breakfast here is usually frantic.  We eat, quickly get dressed and run out the door to make the bus at 7 am.  The Nature’s Path cereal was a huge hit.  They even ate the Flax Plus that I thought would be left for me.  I have to say my favorite was the Peanut Butter Granola Bars.  Talk about filling.  You can actually see the ingredients in the bar.  It’s not all smashed up with mystery ingredients.  The bars are a perfect filling snack between meals or for a quick grab breakfast.

Nature’s Path also has baking mixes and ingredients to make your own healthy foods.  They have Pancake Mix, Flax Seed Meal, and Flax Seeds.  Their frozen line consists of waffles in many flavors and types.  They have hot cereal as well as cold cereal and they have Toaster Pastries!  I feel a little less guilty giving my kids organic Toaster Pastries instead of the sugar and artificial ingredients of your every day toaster pastries.

Win It!

Nature’s Path has generously offered Networking Witches Readers a great package of organic goodies.  Optimum Strawberry & Yogurt Cereal, Cherry Chocolate Toaster Pastries, Pumpkin Flax Plus Granola, and Chocolate Chip Granola Bars.

Mandatory Entry:

Go to Nature’s Path Organic, Eat Well Page, take a look around and tell me what you learned or a small change you can make with your family to eat healthier.

Baby Dipper Review & Giveaway Ends 11/19/09 *CLOSED*

babydipperlogoIt’s not a star sign. It’s not a horoscope. So, what is it? Baby Dipper isn’t just for easy feeding, it’s for feeding using one hand. How many times have you done that? As a Mom I’m all too familiar with multi-tasking, and feeding a little one, with a single hand. And they give Superman the big rep.

Baby Dipper has a contoured interior that guides the food to the spoon, so there won’t be alot of chasing those last few bites around in the bottom of a bowl. And who says a bowl has to be round anyway? I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen a law regarding “bowls must be round!” The spoon easily fits into the lower corners of the bowl, the base is non-slip! The sides are transparent, it’s rather neat to see straight through The Baby Dipper.

The babydipperBaby Dipper has a pretty basic size, 4 ounce capacity, made for little ones 4 months +. Dimensions are: 4 inches long, 3 inches wide 1 and 3/4 inches deep for compact usability.  Can you say travel friendly?!

Toddlers can learn to feed themselves while staying fairly neat & clean since the bowl isn’t sliding all over as they are maneuvering a spoon. The Baby Dipper is phthalates-free, and meets CPSIA standards. No other bowl combines the patent pending features of The Baby Dipper bowl with the ease of feeding with one hand. Did you take note of the shape of the spoon? The spoon has a “bend” in it which matches little hands, and The Baby Dipper quite well!

One NetWorkingWitches U.S. Reader will win their own Baby Dipper.

MANDATORY Entry – Visit The Baby Dipper, and tell us in a comment what you see there, other than the videos. Please play fair, no cheating. :)
