Philosophy Cookies for Kid’s Cancer & Confessions of a Moody Mama Giveaway

philosophy & Cookies for Kid’s Cancer
From August 15th – October 15th philosophy will be donating 100% of the net proceeds of their oatmeal raisin high foaming shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer — an organization created to raise awareness of and funds to support research for new and improved therapies for pediatric cancer through the concept of hosting local bake sales.

The Cookies for Kids’ Cancer website (www.cookiesforkidscancer.org) makes it easy for anyone that wants to get involved in the fight against pediatric cancer with a step by step Bake Sale event…

Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is a simple way for people everywhere to get involved in the fight against pediatric cancer. What does that fight need? Funds for research into new treatments and a cure. Holding a “Bake Sale” is easy for anyone to do. We want to encourage you by providing the tools needed for individuals, schools, churches, and businesses to hold a bake sale. You may choose to hold a large bake sale with the help of friends or to keep it simple like we did and just offer cookies.

Like all bake sales, a Cookies for Kids’ Cancer bake sale starts as a way to collect a simple donation in exchange for a cookie or other tasty baked good. But there is a bigger purpose – to share the facts about pediatric cancer and the need for better treatments. As a bake sale host, you represent Cookies for Kids’ Cancer with the hope that those making donations will want to join in the cause. Your passion and desire to help will be contagious. Your efforts will encourage others to make a donation.

Your bake sale will be somewhat of a billboard, attracting many passersby. Some will simply want to make a donation. Many may have a friend, neighbor or schoolmate they know who is a cancer survivor. Others will share a story with you about someone they lost to cancer. Cancer touches most if not all of our lives in one way or another. For this reason you will find most everyone who passes by your bake sale will want to support, encourage and thank you for your efforts.

philosophy will be hosting two bake sales of their own at their Arizona store locations. Are you also willing to host a BAKE SALE??? Cancer remains the number one disease that claims the lives of our children. Each year cancer kills more children under the age of 18 than asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis and AIDS combined.

Well, for all of you NON-Bakers (like me) PLEASE help Kick Cancers Butt by picking up the oatmeal raisin high foaming shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath benefiting Cookies for Kids’ Cancer on http://www.philosophy.com.
