Themosyscrapper03 from Etsy is Givingaway a Pair of Earrings – Black Friday Event 11/29/2009 @ 7 am est
Themosyscrapper03 on Etsy has awesome finds. I have found a lot of pieces that would make the perfect stocking stuffer or gift. Themosyscrapper03 is very reasonably priced and her charmed jewelry is really nice.
I love how she mixes different beads to make her own pieces unique. They coming in many different colors and sizes and use different types of ear wires. And when I say her items are affordable I mean
very affordable. What a nice fashionable stocking stuffer these would make.
Or like my husband did one year after I went to bed decorated our tree with earrings he had gotten me for Christmas. It was so much fun going through the tree to see all the pretty earrings.
These beautiful earrings are great for any gal on your list whether a teacher, choir director, or a fried that just needs a little cheering.

Designs by Janessa – Black Friday Giveaway Event – Ends 11/29/2009 @ 12 am
I am in love with Designs by Janessa for a few reasons. Her artwork is really beautiful and so new and refreshing to me.
Remember when our house was stricken with H1N1? Well I got her items in the mail to send back to her and we just didn’t get them finished like we were supposed to and she was very kind and went out of her way to help us.
With Janessa’s items you make a mold of a finger or toe print and she turns it into metal. You can have your print turned into many different pendants or charms. Not to mention there are lots of ways to wear these. She carries Key Chains, Cuff Links, and Necklaces.
She has lots of other beautiful pieces as well. There is her tree which is what caught my eye to begin with.She has a beautiful keepsake coin and birthstone charms. Janessa’s items are very unique and there is something for everyone on your Christmas List.
I took a look at the comments on Janessa’s comment page and they are raving reviews and I have to agree! Janesa is a Stay At Home Mom but was a high school science teacher in her previous life. I’m in awe of her creativity and the speed that she works.
All of these would be a gift treasured by a mom, dad, grandparents and other family members.
Win It!!

Silikids Review
Silicone Must Haves For Kids
Silikids began in 2006 as a labor of love for two friends, and mothers. They were concerned with toxic materials in children’s products, and thus Silikids was born. A Children’s Accessory company dedicated to making safe, clean and hygienic products out of silicone.
Why Choose Silicone? Here are a few facts, and a crash course in science!
Silicone is non-toxic and hypo allergenic. It has few open pores so it doesn’t harbor or promote bacteria and fungus growth like scratched, warped plastic can.
BPA-Free Due to recent concerns regarding the chemical BPA, may parents are switching to BPA free children’s products. Silicone offers just that solution.
Safe Silicone is basically made up of silicon, a natural element present in sand, quartz, and rock, which after oxygen, is the most abundant element on earth. Silicon is transformed into silicone when combined with oxygen, carbon. Because it’s an inert material, it does not react with food or beverages or poduce any hazardous fumes. It does not transmit taste to beverages and food.
Silikids has products for children from infant bibs and baby bottles, up to a drinking glass appropriate for those 3-10 years old.
Silikids, in caring for the planet makes a very conscious effort to produce products that last, and promote reuse. Packaging is minimal, and silicone can be recycled at specific recycling centers. Send your Silikids products back to them, and they will have it recycled for you!
I was sent a sample from Silikids for review. In no way does this affect my opinion expressed. It is just that, my opinion.
Bling Strands Giveaway Ends 12/03/09
Bling Strands are gorgeous, and are a huge hit for my daughter and I. I’m sure these are a huge hit with other little girls, younger and older ladies as well! I was afraid it would be a very daunting, and frustrating task to put these in her hair. It did take some patience, but it did not make me mad. I don’t have a lot of patience, so that’s pretty good. Ha!
Since I didn’t think this was going to go very well, I let my daughter check out the Bling Strands website, so she could put them in my hair also. Being 11, I wasn’t sure if she’d be able to really get the whole slip knot, and push to the bottom of the hair, tie twice, tug strands, not the hair sequence. Granted, I am now missing a few strands of individual hairs as she says she broke them, but I have a small painful area where it proves her wrong. It is a little late, and she is 11. She did manage to get the hang of it quicker than I originally expected. I now have 2 strands in my hair. I put a few in her hair also, and I really think their darling.
Last summer she begged me to let her get pink and purple highlights in her hair. It’s just hair right? She’s very persuasive. Well since the school won’t allow kids to have those in their hair, this is an absolutely wonderful alternative that is as temporary as we want it, or as permanent as we want it. I really like these Bling Strands, and if my daughter doesn’t want to put them in my hair, I’m headed for the salon in town to ask them what they’ll charge me to put them in.
Here is a picture of the Bling Strands in her hair. I didn’t add very many tonight, but will be putting more in tomorrow for her.I think we added 5 or 6 strands tonight. It was a little tricky getting the hang of it. But it really did not take very long. To show her how to put them in, I showed her using a piece of string, hubby’s hair was too short. He’s almost always our guinea pig.
My daughter adores Bling Strands, and is already choosing the colors she wants for a future purchase. (I can feel the very near future, since she wants to pay for them with her own money.) Take a look at the colors they have to offer. Fifteen (15) different colors to be exact. Suitable for light or dark hair.

“Bling Strands LLC, is a Utah based business. Showing women of today how they add shimmer and dazzle to their hair with just a simple knot. The idea of tying a shimmering strad of iridescent thread into hair, started in Asia. Joanne, and Angela caught the vision and brought Bling Strands to the United States.
Bling Strands are wonderful way to add that extra touch for special occasions, like proms, weddings, vacations, anniversaries, dance and cheer squads, and especially for every day wear.
Bling Strands don’t have an age limit, or a specific style. Light or dark hair, long or short hair, you can be sure that Bling Strands will have you turning heads.”
It’s great, with Bling Strands, you add the amount of effect that you want. Just add 1+ strands, and you’re on the way to be fab!
The folks at Bling Strands are offering two of our readers a chance to win their own Bling Strands!

Facebook Putting A Stop To Promotions? No Dairy
Facebook = Social Networking
Blogging = Social NetWorking
Twitter = Micro Social NetWorking
Facebook has a made a change to their privacy policy.
Thank you to Casey, over at A Couch With A View , which is where I first read about this, she then directed me to Angie, over at A Simple Kind Of Life, who posted quite a bit of information on her blog in regards to this.
You may not publicize or administer a promotion on Facebook if:
2.1 The promotion is open or marketed to individuals who are under the age of 18;
2.2 The promotion is open to individuals who reside in a country embargoed by the United States;
2.3 The promotion, if a sweepstakes, is open to individuals residing in Belgium, Norway, Sweden, or India;
2.4 The promotion’s objective is to promote any of the following product categories: gambling, tobacco, dairy, firearms, prescription drugs, or gasoline;
2.5 The prize or any part of the prize includes alcohol, tobacco, dairy, firearms, or prescription drugs; or
2.6 The promotion is a sweepstakes that conditions entry upon the purchase of a product, completion of a lengthy task, or other form of consideration.
Yes, that said dairy.
I understand the rest of it, but dairy?
What will this mean for those of us that use NetWorked Blogs? Since NetWorked Blogs automatically publishes blog entries for us, when we publish giveaways on our blogs, it goes straight through NetWorked Blogs, which could very well fall into publicizing. So what is this going to mean for the small companies on facebook that have networked many there, in one convenient location?
Will this be a change that’s staying? Or will everyone launch together and ask that the privacy policy be removed, or edited?
I’m going to sit back and wait to see.
